The developer does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Radio Vault is completely ad-free and contains no advertising, tracking, or data collection of any kind. A 7-day free trial gives full access to every feature; after the trial, a single one-time purchase unlocks the app for good. There is no subscription, and no account is required.

There is no Radio Vault backend server. The app communicates only with the Radio Browser API, individual station stream URLs, and, if you choose to upgrade, Google Play Billing.

This data is stored in the app's private storage on your device and is removed when you uninstall Radio Vault; your own music files are left untouched. Live radio is streamed directly and is not saved to disk. The only audio stored on your device is podcast episodes you have chosen to download.
Radio Vault uses the Radio Browser API (api.radio-browser.info) to fetch station listings, search results, and stream URLs. Radio Browser is a free, community-maintained, public directory of internet radio stations that requires no authentication or API key.
When you search for or browse stations, the app sends standard HTTP requests containing only your search query or selected filter (genre/country). No personal information is included in these requests. Your IP address is visible to the Radio Browser servers as it is with any web request, but Radio Vault does not control, process, or receive that data.
Radio Browser's own privacy practices are described at radio-browser.info. Radio Vault is not affiliated with the Radio Browser project.
When you play a station, Radio Vault connects directly to that station's stream URL. The station's server will see a connection from your IP address, which is inherent to any internet streaming. Radio Vault does not intercept, log, or process this connection. The station operators' own privacy policies govern any data they collect from stream connections.
When you use the Podcasts section, Radio Vault contacts Apple's iTunes Search API and Apple's public podcast charts to find shows, and connects directly to the RSS feed of any show you follow to load its episodes. These are the same public feed URLs any podcast app uses. No account or personal data is involved, and the developer receives none of this activity.
Radio Vault reads the local music folders you choose on your own device to build your library, organizing your tracks into albums, artists, and folders on-device. Your music files never leave your device and are never uploaded anywhere.
If you download a podcast episode for offline listening, its audio file is saved to your device's local storage so it can play without an internet connection. Downloaded episodes stay on your device and are never uploaded, transmitted, or shared. You can delete them at any time from within the app.
Radio Vault offers a 7-day free trial with full access to every feature. After the trial, a single one-time purchase unlocks the app for good, with no subscription. The purchase is processed entirely by the app store you downloaded from: Google Play Billing on Android, the Microsoft Store on Windows, or the Apple App Store on iOS and macOS. The developer never receives or stores your payment card details, billing address, or any financial information; the app only receives a confirmation that the purchase was successful.
Your purchase is subject to the terms of the store you bought it from. Pro status is stored locally on your device and restored automatically from that store if you reinstall the app.
No analytics, crash-reporting, or any other tracking SDK is included in the application.
Radio Vault does not knowingly collect any information from or about children under the age of 13. The app requires no account and collects no personal data from any user, including children.
Because we hold no personal data about you, all your data is under your direct control. You can delete all Radio Vault data at any time by:
